- We unfold the triangle with the base towards us. Fold back the top corner. The tip should touch the base. Press the fold line.
- We bend the right side inward.
- Bend the left side inward.
- Bend the edge of the left side in the opposite direction. The fold line runs in the middle of the base.
- The resulting "tail" is opened in a pocket.
- We fold the pocket into a square.
- Done. It remains to bend the top and tuck the tip into the square pocket.
A more elaborate and time-consuming option is to use tape.
Such envelopes, as a rule, are not limited to only one colored paper. They are additionally decorated with twisted patterns, beads, glitter. It is customary to use patterned stencils for cutting out the shape. Thicker paper is used instead of standard paper. For example, thin cardboard.
The scheme is simple:
- a stencil is cut;
- in the places indicated by the black stripes, cuts are made for the tape;

- the tape is placed under the product and passed through the slots. Tied on the front side. Done!
How to make a beautiful envelope out of paper
Antique
You will need: a sheet of paper, a wax candle, a wide brush, coffee or tea, a seal.
Sequencing:
- Fold a simple envelope out of paper. Do not glue.
- Expand it and paint over with a brush with brew of strong black tea or coffee. Allow to dry.
- Fold and glue the envelope, leaving the "cover" free. Put a gift / letter.
- Bend the lid, push the fold line well and press the tip against the envelope. Drip wax and squeeze out the seal. Done!
Any means at hand can be used as a seal. For example, cosmetic caps or cut wine corks. It is easy to replace wax candles with paraffin wax or gun glue, which comes in different colors.
Inside out
To create it you will need:
- ready-made envelope stencil;
- plain, double-sided colored paper for the envelope itself;
- colored paper for the wrong side. The wrong side requires significantly less paper. In addition, it should clearly stand out against the background of the main one.
Sequencing:
- Cut the envelope using a stencil.
- Fold it over the fold lines, but do not glue.
- Cut the inside out according to the shape of the envelope.
- Paste it into the inside of the envelope. Collect it and glue it.
Envelope-box
Materials:
- thick paper (scrap, cardboard);
- scissors or utility knife;
- glue;
- round shape (most conveniently - CD / DVD discs);
- decor (ribbon).
Sequencing:
- Cut 4 circles using the contour discs. Bend each circle in half.
- Apply glue ¼ of each circle in the same place.
- Glue circles, according to the principle of closing a cardboard box. Let dry.
- Put a gift, close the envelope like a cardboard box and decorate with decor - tie it with a ribbon.
Simpler but no less cute envelopes - decorated with decorative animals or flowers. It is not necessary to strive to achieve ideal forms - clumsy penguins, cut from ordinary colored paper, look much more charming than the highest quilling technique.
A standard white envelope is decorated with ribbons, lace, drawings of various shapes through stencils and turns into a unique package.
