3.14. Supervises the conduct of research and experimental work on the development of newly developed technological processes.
3.15. Participates in industrial tests of new types of machines and mechanisms, means of mechanization and automation of production, in the work of commissions for the acceptance of equipment systems into operation.

4. Rights
The chief technologist has the right:
4.1. Participate in the discussion of draft decisions of the head of the organization.
