My moral values

Epigraph

When you are unable to do good,

Give back at least what was done to you,

Let you become inconvenient for someone,

But you won't get lost in the crowd.

Judge yourself demandingly and strictly!

Rise above your gain,

And don't think too much about yourself,

Arrogance is not held in high esteem by people.

Every person, small and large, has an amazing opportunity - the opportunity to dream. As long as a person lives, he always dreams of something. Sometimes his dreams come true, turning into life goals.

Let's imagine our life as a ladder along which we go up, into the future, into adulthood. Your right is to choose what your staircase will be, large or small, what steps it will consist of. You can think of each rung as something you want to achieve in your life and let's call this ladder the ladder of values.

When climbing the stairs, we do not always walk confidently, we can make mistakes, we can stumble and even fall. Anything can happen in life: we are accompanied by illness, disappointment and even loss. Our ascent depends largely on how we behave towards other people who are walking up the stairs with us: we will push, step over someone, let them pass ahead, or walk next to us.

Let's try to think about what our movement will be?

Value is everything that is significant for the life of a person and people in this society.

  • Morality is the rules that determine the behavior, spiritual and mental qualities necessary for a person in society, as well as the implementation of these rules.

Which of the following would you like to take with you to build your wish ladder?

  • Cunning, perseverance, independence, creativity, nobility, caution, stinginess, distrust, hypocrisy

shyness, tolerance, envy, patriotism, greed, arrogance, generosity, irresponsibility, honesty, trust, confidence,.....

What to choose: conscience or peace,

Prosperity or honor,

Submission or fight,

Courage or flattery?

What is conscience?

  • Conscience is the secret place of the soul, in which approval or condemnation of every action is echoed; a feeling that awakens love for truth and goodness, aversion from lies and evil
  • Conscience is the harshest and most unforgiving of all judges encountered in a person’s life.

  • Conscience is a moral feeling that is implanted by God into the human soul. Conscience makes a person human.
  • Conscience is the voice of God within us. Every person should be raised so that the voice of conscience constantly sounds within him.

In the world of wise thoughts

  • Where there is shame, there is conscience.

(Russian proverb)

  • Conscience is a clawed beast that gnaws at the heart.

(L. Landau)

  • Conscience! Without you, there is nothing in me that elevates me above animals.

(J. J. Rousseau)

A collective image of a conscientious person.

  • He does everything according to his conscience, he is ashamed to act unfairly, he will not pass by someone else’s misfortune indifferently, he will not cowardly shirk to the side where he needs to stand up for the truth.
  • He checks his every step with current moral standards and acts consciously in strict accordance with them.
  • He does not commit actions that will bring him down in the eyes of other people, even when he is quite sure that no one will know about it
  • A conscientious person, if he commits some unjust acts, does so unintentionally, and they cause him deep repentance.

  • Peace and order rest on conscientious people.
  • They carry a charge of moral health that has a beneficial effect on others.
  • Their life position largely determines the moral climate of society and the level of its ideals.

Flies and bees

A wise man was once asked:

  • -Why are some people kind and pious, while others are evil and immoral?

The sage replied:

  • -Life experience has led me to the conclusion that there are two categories of people. One category of people is like a fly. The fly has a habit of landing on dirty things. Even if there are a lot of fragrant flowers in the garden, but somewhere in the corner there is a pile of manure, then a fly will sit on it, begin to dig into it, enjoying the stench and it may be impossible to drive it away. If you ask a fly where the flowers are, it will not be able to answer you because it does not know what they are. So some part of people, like a fly, look only for Evil, not wanting to look for Good and live in it. Another category of people is like bees. The bee's specialty is to find and land on beautiful and sweet things. If among the many sewage there is at least one fresh flower, then a bee released in this place will look for this flower and will not sit anywhere other than this flower, because it is not interested in garbage dumps, it simply does not notice them. People with good intentions think about good things and see only good things.

Each person has a choice as to which type to belong to: flies or bees .

Kindness

  • Good is everything that is morally valuable, that contributes to the well-being of a person and society as a whole.
  • Goodness is primarily associated with the ability to rejoice and have compassion, sympathize, empathize, respond to the feelings of others and keep your soul open.
  • The properties of kindness include responsiveness, attention to people, generosity, willingness to sacrifice one’s interests for the sake of others, and selflessness.

Parable

  • In one of the countries there lived an old woman. For many years, she walked along the beach with a stick during the height of the summer season, spending all day under the rays of the scorching sun. People were perplexed and did not understand what she was looking for in the sand, raking it with a stick, but no one dared to ask her about it, for fear of offending the old woman.
  • What do you think she was looking for in the sand in such heat?

Your opinion:

  • How much has this old lady achieved in life?
  • What do you think was her path up the ladder of life?
  • What were her moral values?

Mercy

  • A special type of kindness is mercy. This is mercy of the heart, pity, gentleness, compassion, love for people.
  • Mercy is not weakness, but strength, because it is characteristic of people who are able to come to the rescue.
  • The ability to sympathize and empathize is a sign of the spiritual maturity of a person.
  • Tears of sympathy for another person are holy tears. They mean that a person has a soul and a heart.

Reminder

One young man was driving a new expensive car and was in a great mood. There was cheerful music playing in the salon. Suddenly, he saw children sitting on the side of the road. Having rushed past the children at speed, he suddenly heard a stone hit the car door. The young man jumped out of the car and began shaking one of the boys by the collar, shouting:

Brat! Why the hell did you throw a rock at my car? Do you even know how much it costs?!

Forgive me, for God’s sake,” the boy replied, “I had no intention of harming you.” The fact is that my disabled brother fell out of the stroller, and I was unable to lift him. We have been asking for help for several hours now, but no one is stopping. I had no choice but to throw the stone, otherwise you wouldn’t have stopped either.

The young man helped put the disabled man in the wheelchair, trying to hold back tears of compassion for him. Approaching the car, he saw a dent from a stone on the door. Once in the car, he turned off the music and drove the rest of the way in complete silence.

He drove this car for many years, leaving a dent on the door, because it served as a reminder to him that he should not pass by someone else's misfortune.

  • When the great titan Prometheus stole the fire of the gods from Olympus and gave it to people, the father of the gods Zeus terribly punished the daredevil, but it was too late. Possessing the divine flame, people stopped obeying the celestials, learned various sciences, and came out of their pitiful state. A little more - and they would have won complete happiness for themselves...
  • Then Zeus decided to send punishment on them. The blacksmith god Hephaestus sculpted the beautiful woman Pandora from earth and water. The rest of the gods gave her: some - cunning, some - courage, some - extraordinary beauty. Then, handing her a mysterious box, Zeus sent her to earth, forbidding her to remove the lid from the box. Curious Pandora, as soon as she came into the world, opened the lid. Immediately all human vices, misfortunes, crimes and diseases flew out of there and scattered throughout the Universe. Pandora, in fear, tried to slam the lid again, but in the box, among all the misfortunes, there was another creature. The gods, filled with pity for people, hid one good creature, Nadezhda, among the spirits of evil. She wanted to fly out after the disasters, but the frightened Pandora slammed the lid, and Nadezhda remained at the bottom. The evil disasters, sufferings, and diseases that flew out of the box immediately spread throughout the earth. Later, Nadezhda was able to escape from the box and rushed to correct all the disasters.
  • People used to live happily, without knowing evil, hard work and destructive diseases. Now illnesses and disasters have become uninvited guests day and night.

So, according to ancient myths, Evil appeared in the world, bringing with it unbearable suffering, but Hope always follows on its heels, helping suffering people and promising them a happy future. So let's not lose Hope that sooner or later harmony, happiness, tranquility will reign on earth again and the world will be ruled KINDNESS.

And for this, each of us must live according to the moral rules of people.

  • Moral rules of people:
  • 1Always obey your conscience in everything.
  • 2. Don’t pass by those in need of help.
  • 3. Don’t be vindictive, know how to forgive.
  • 4. Respect the opinion of others, even if you disagree with them.
  • 5. Always do as you want to be treated.
  • 6. Take care of all living things: both people and animals.
  • 7. Be honest not only with people, but also with yourself.
  • 8. Respect your elders and take care of your younger ones.

9. Do good to people and it will come back to you.

“HUMAN LIFE IS THE HIGHEST MORAL VALUE.”

AFTER THE STORM, THE SEA SHORE WAS STILLED WITH SEA STARS. THE GIRL REALLY LOVED SEA STARS AND DIDN'T WANT THEM TO DIE. SHE WALKED BY THE SEASHORE, PICKED UP THE STARS AND LET THEM GO INTO THE WAVES, WITHOUT STOPPING OR RESTING. A SERIOUS, ADULT AND “SOBEDIATELY REASONING” PERSON APPROACHED HER. HE WAS SURPRISED: “GIRL, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU CAN’T SAVE EVERYONE STILL! THIS MAKES NO SENSE!” THE GIRL STOPPED FOR A MINUTE, LOOKED AT HIM AND ANSWERED: “IT MAKES SENSE FOR THOSE I HAVE ALREADY SAVED.” AND THEN CONTINUED HER WORK WITH THE SAME DILIGENCE. THE MAN WALKED HOME SLOWLY, THINKING. AND NO ONE WILL NEVER KNOW WHETHER HE UNDERSTANDED OR NOT THAT EVERY LIFE SAVED IS OF GREAT VALUE TO WHOM WHO POSSESSES IT.
